Memorial Day 2013: A Prelude

I had to travel this last week.   But, I woke very early one morning as the sun was coming up and looked out the window to see this:

OK.   The car lot isn't important.   What you see beyond are gravestones from Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

May we never forget the supreme sacrifice of these men and women.
